The Filipino Community in Vicenza, Italy, welcomed the mobile consular service conducted by the Philippine Consulate General in Milan (Milan PCG) held at the Salone Villa Tacchi, Viale Della Pace 87, 36100 Vicenza, Italy on 14-15 October 2018.

Representatives of the Overseas Workers’ Welfare Administration, Pag-IBIG Fund and Social Security System joined the consular team of Milan PCG headed by Consul Mersole J. Mellejor.

Some 554 clients from Vicenza and nearby provinces in the Veneto region were served during the activity, availing services, such as, applications for passports, civil registry and notarials.  

The mobile consular service in Vicenza was organized in collaboration of the Associazone Comunita Filippina di Vicenza, headed by its president Ms. Corazon Taganayon, President with the able support of Fr. Paulino Bumanglag of the Filipino Chaplaincy of Vicenza. 

Members of the team from Milan PCG and attached agencies joined officials of the Associazone Communita Filippina di Vicenza and the Filipino Chaplaincy of Vicenza in a short program to officially open the mobile consular service on 14 October 2018.
