Application for a visa must be done personally. Minor applicants, except infants, shall be required to appear in person, together with a parent.
IMPORTANT: Every visa application has to be evaluated. Therefore, acceptance of the application does not mean approval.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: (Temporary Visitor’s Visa)
1. Fill up and complete the application form from the Consulate;

2. 2 pcs passport size photos.
3. Original and photocopy of valid passport with at least six (6) months validity;
4. Proof of financial capability (Bank statement with sufficient balance, NOT withdrawal or balance slip from an ATM machine);
5. Travel Itinerary supported by flight reservation;
IMPORTANT!
Do not purchase or confirm airline tickets until visa is secured as depending on the nationalities of the applicants, Visa processing may take weeks. (The Consulate is not responsible for missed flights).
6. Original and photocopy of Carta di Identita/Soggiorno;
7. Hotel accommodation or proof of lodging and/or Invitation letter from the sponsor in the Philippines with copy of the sponsor’s valid id/passport.
For Tourism or Leisure Visitors:
8. Documents proving ties to the home country/country of residence:
- Employment certificate or contract of lavoro and/or;
- Property documents or business registration/permit.
For Business purposes (Italian companies sending employees to Philippines for business meetings, technical support, etc.):
8.3 Endorsement letter from the applicant’s company and;
8.4 Employment certificate with remuneration or letter of guarantee from the
Applicant’s company.
8.5 Invitation from a partner Philippine company/private entity.

Note: The Consular Officer reserves the right to require additional documents upon assessment of the application, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.

List of countries whose nationals can enter the Philippines without a visa for a stay not exceeding thirty (30) days. provided they hold valid airplane tickets for their return to port of origin or next port of destination; and a passport with at least 6 months validity.
