The Associazione Italo-Filipino Infermieri e Assistenti, a Filipino nurses association in Bologna, Italy conducted its annual free cardiac screening for the Filipino community in Bologna on Sunday, 25 November 2018.
The program was done in cooperation with the Ospedale Maggiore di Bologna and the Associazione Amici del Cuore di Bologna, a group of Italian cardiologist headed by Dr. Giuseppe di Pascuale, Dirigente Medico (Director).
More than two hundred fifty Filipinos were able to avail of the free cardiac screening. Those who were found to have high parameters in their test results were given endorsements for further screening and check-up.
The ATN Office of the Philippine Consulate General in Milan and and the Welfare officer of OWWA-Milan attended the program.
