The Philippine Consulate General in Milan (Milan PCG) conducted its second mobile consular mission (MCM) for the year in Mestre, Italy, on 16-17 March 2019.
Representatives of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office/Overseas Workers’ Welfare Office (POLO/OWWA) Milan, Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-ibig Fund joined a 9-member team from Milan PCG for the MCM.
The activity enabled Filipinos in Veneto region and nearby areas to avail of consular services without having to take a day off from work and under the three-hour travel to Milan.
The MCM was organized by Milan PCG with the able support of Honorary Consul Giorgia de Biasi and Mr. Darwin Gutierrez, president of the Filipino community organization, Comunita Filippina di Venezia Mestre e Terraferma.
