Members of the Filipino community in northern Italy trooped to the Philippine Consulate General in Milan (Milan PCG) on Sunday, 31 March 2019. This is the second time that Milan PCG and its attached agencies (POLO/OWWA, SSS and Pag-Ibig Fund) opened for consular services on a Sunday following the initial opening on 27 January 2019.
Milan PCG served a total of 320 clients, mostly passport applicants, and those filing for civil registry documents and notarials. The attached agencies attended to a total of 444 applicants.
As part of its efforts to make its services more accessible to Filipinos in its jurisdiction, Milan PCG opens it doors to the public on Sundays in 2019. This is in addition to 15 mobile consular missions (MCMs) to be conducted in areas outside of the City of Milan.
The next Sunday opening is set on 26 May 2019.
