Consul General Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez and other officials of the Philippine Consulate General in Milan, Italy, paid a courtesy call on Chief of Police of Milan, referred to also as Questore, Dr. Sergio Bracco, at his office in Via Fatebenefratelli 11.
Dr. Bracco heads the Questura of Milan, the agency in charge of public order and security as well as control and management of migrants in the City. He spent 25 years in Bologna until 2016 when he moved to Genova. He assumed his position in Milan in March 2019.
The call was a good opportunity for the Philippine Consulate General in Milan to exchange views with Dr. Bracco on common concerns relevant to Filipinos in northern Italy and to convey the interest of the Consulate to continue building on an existing collaboration between the Consulate and the Questura of Milan for the estimated 50,000 in the city.
