Consul General Irene Susan B. Natividad on Sunday, 13 May 2018, attended the 1st Anniversary celebration of Bethany Baptist Church in Brenta, Milan, at the invitation of Rev. Omar Monte. Rev. Brian Dunlop of Lighthouse Baptist Church in California was guest speaker at the service.

The Consul General congratulated church’s officials for successfully guiding the congregation in its first year. She invited Bethany Baptist Church to work with the Consulate to assist Filipinos in Italy.

“Just as this church and your brothers and sisters in the faith have embraced you and ministered your spiritual needs, I would like to do the same as your Consul General. The doors of your new Consulate are open to each and everyone of you for your consular and other needs,” she said.

Earlier, Rev. Monte and members of his church paid a courtesy call on Consul General Natividad and offered marriage counselling services for its young members who are planning to have their marriage officiated at the Consulate.
